Nationwide Credit Corporation is a prosperous collection agency located in Alexandria VA. We are currently in pursuit of a talented Bill Collector as a new addition to our high revenue producing Collections team. Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment? We are looking for an individual who is responsible for resolving outbound calls for the organization.

Specific Duties:

• Placing outbound calls to assist consumers in resolving their past due accounts
• Taking inbound calls to assist consumers in resolving their past due accounts
• Notating the account housing database accurately with each correspondent
• Handling the account according to account standards as outlined in training documents/manuals
• Maintaining efficient utilization balance between on phone/wrap up/wait and talk time
• Meeting production goals
• Displaying accurate client knowledge
• Maintaining acceptable Compliance reports monthly
• Respond effectively and quickly to account and department needs and issues
• Complying with Federal and state laws as well as company policies during daily activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to multi- task in a fast-paced environment
• Detail orientation
• A strong sense of teamwork and cooperation with management, and coworkers
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize efficiently and effectively
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivation and sound judgment
• Strong negotiation skills and able to work independently
• Active listening is required
• Bilingual a plus

Salary $18-$23/hr. With Commission or With Out Commission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
