This position does not offer relocation assistance. **Job Summary** The successful candidate will proactively engage in cross-functional, enterprise-wide, savings initiatives with Business Unit customers on strategic sourcing goals, category strategies, initiatives, and savings targets. Participate in formulating sourcing strategies and supports the development of negotiation strategies. Lead and execute savings initiatives. Support the entire procurement lifecycle of category initiatives from strategy development to final purchase. Analyzes relevant markets, and assess cost impacts of market events, for assigned spend categories. Maintains supplier lists for assigned spend categories and builds partnerships with strategic suppliers. Maintains relationships with Business Unit and supplier senior executives. Supports the development and evaluation of complex competitive bids. Leads pricing, terms and conditions, and compliance negotiations with suppliers related to category initiatives. (Collaborate with stakeholders to provide crucial insights into Demand and Forecast, Finance, Operational Requirements, and Quality to ensure those category strategies are tightly linked with company requirements and goals.) This individual's role will include but is not limited to: + Setting meaningful category savings targets and deliver savings results by implementing procurement strategies based on TCO analysis and innovation. + Perform category management of assigned areas such as MRO items, distribution and transmission materials. + Develop, build and present strategic plans and dashboards for assigned spend categories. + Develop PowerBI Dashboards for interactive cost management for assigned categories. + Frequent Business Unit Executive updates on cost analysis and budget impact strategies. + Proactively engage and collaborate with Business Unit customers on strategic business goals, category strategies, initiatives, and budget impact targets. + Lead the formulation of category strategies and negotiation of key terms for highly complex sourcing events. + Develop and Lead charter initiatives for process improvements and budget impact opportunities. + Lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide savings initiatives. + Effectively communicate initiative updates and savings targets across the organization. + Analyze relevant markets and assess cost impacts of market events for assigned categories. + Maintain supplier lists for assigned categories and build partnerships with strategic suppliers. + Maintain relationship with supplier senior executives. + Travel as needed to meet with Business Unit customers and suppliers (expected travel up to 1 week per month). + Perform other duties as requested or assigned. **Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience** 7+ years of related experience. + Strong understanding of business cost drivers. + Hands-on understanding of business processes and objectives. + Developing knowledge of assigned categories. + Excellent project management skills, with ability to resolve problems and to remove barriers to success. + Strong analytic toolset that will support the creation of financial targets, detailed analysis of spend data, and structure of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models. + Strong mentoring skills. + Ability to navigate organization and influence decisions. + Ability to develop and implement a structured, negotiation strategy. **Education Requirements** Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor Preferred Disciplines:Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above. **Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description** **Working Conditions** Office Work Environment 76 -100% Travel Up to 25% **Other Working Conditions** **Test Description** No Testing Required **Export Control** Certain positions at Dominion Energy may involve access to information and technology subject to export controls under U.S. law.
