Job Title: Technician Assistant (+25$/hr)

Job Description

As a Technician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in installing and repairing batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables. You will be responsible for preparing materials and equipment for each job, loading and unloading trucks, and placing batteries on racks or trays. Your work will contribute to seamless operations and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain flooded and sealed batteries, chargers, cable trays, battery racks, and power cables.
• Prepare materials and equipment required for each job assignment.
• Load and unload trucks, and haul and hoist materials.
• Place batteries on racks or trays.
• Install battery cables and hardware.

Essential Skills

• Willingness to travel to job sites, do overnight travel, and work nights and weekends as needed.
• Flexibility in scheduling for travel with short notice(NOVA-PA)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and inclination.
• Electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Experience with hand tools and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment is preferred.

Work Environment

This role involves working on construction sites and various facilities, with a requirement to travel approximately 50% of the time. The ability to lift 75 pounds regularly is necessary, and the work may require nights and weekends. The position demands flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, VA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
