As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver Government** in **Virginia Beach, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while carrying a firearm, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding as needed. This role also involves driving responsibilities, requiring you to operate vehicles as part of your patrol duties. You will remain visible to help create a secure environment, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with all individuals on site. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while remaining prepared for emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
+ Monitor access control points and verify credentials to help to maintain the integrity of the location.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Armed Guard Card or License is required.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
