The RN Manager Pediatric Critical Care will join an academic medical center with 300+ inpatient beds, Magnet-recognized nursing, and a strong shared-governance model. A deep commitment to safety, innovation, and family-centered care is at the core of this acute care hospital.

The RN Manager Pediatric Critical Care will report to senior nursing leadership within Pediatric Critical Care while leading assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, clinical educators, and a talented team of bedside RNs and support staff. In this capacity, the RN Manager Pediatric Critical Care partners closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapy, ECMO specialists, pharmacy, perioperative services, the emergency department, transport, case management, and bed access to ensure seamless operations and outstanding outcomes.

The RN Manager Pediatric Critical Care will oversee a high-acuity Cardiac PICU, will drive clinical excellence through competency development, simulation-based education, preceptor and charge RN mentoring, and targeted quality initiatives to reduce CLABSI, CAUTI, and VAP. Administratively, the RN Manager Pediatric Critical Care will lead budgeting, staffing and scheduling, throughput optimization, accreditation readiness, and productive physician relations, while ensuring alignment with Joint Commission standards. Candidates earning quick interviews will have Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience and an active DC RN license 🌟.
