Responsibilities
- Assess and implement respiratory care plans for residents requiring therapy, including evaluation and documentation of progress.
- Administer inhalation therapies, nebulized medications, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patient responses to therapies, document outcomes, and adjust treatment per physician orders.
- Support airway clearance techniques and suctioning as ordered; assist with chest physiotherapy when indicated.
- Manage ventilation-related responsibilities per protocol, including monitoring and coordinating with the care team.
- Maintain safe, evidence-based practice and uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards in daily care.

Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license valid for the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and with adult patient populations
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and a 3x12-hour shift pattern
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
