Physical security, the first line of defense, protects an organization's tangible assets, facilities, and personnel. This involves measures like access control, surveillance systems, and security personnel to safeguard against physical threats, theft, or unauthorized access.

Position Summary

We are seeking professional, reliable Una rmed Security Guards to join our growing team. In this role, you will safeguard client stores, protect personnel and property, and help maintain a safe, orderly environment. Responsibilities include supporting operations, controlling site access, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility (interior and exterior)
• De-escalate conflicts, especially involving intoxicated or disruptive guests.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Virgini a Security Guard Certification .
• Prior experience in Una rmed security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with State Police guidelines.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Excellent communication, situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills.

• Physical fitness and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods.

Uniform & Equipment

• Ability to purchase a Class A Black uniform.
• Radios or communication equipment may be issued.

Work Conditions

• Shifts include afternoon, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Both indoor and outdoor assignments.
• Must respond within 2-4 hours of notice (for emergency staffing).
