We're hiring Entry-Level Low Voltage Technicians to support data center construction projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a scissor lift or boom lift certification, some exposure to commercial cabling or a low-voltage trade school education, and a desire to grow in one of the fastest-growing industries in construction and technology.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Technician I, you'll work alongside experienced technicians while learning the fundamentals of data center and low-voltage infrastructure installation.

Responsibilities include:

• Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling
• Installing and supporting cable pathways, including J-hooks, cable tray, D-rings, and trapeze systems
• Organizing, dressing, labeling, and securing cables
• Building communication closets, racks, and patch panels
• Assisting with network infrastructure installations
• Installing cable support structures and hardware
• Performing cable testing and basic troubleshooting
• Assisting with fire-stopping and sleeve installations
• Completing job documentation accurately and on time
• Following all job-site safety and quality standards

✅ What You Need

Required Qualifications

• Active Scissor Lift and/or Boom Lift Certification
• At least 3 months of commercial cabling experience OR completion of a Low Voltage/Telecommunications Trade School program
• Ability to work 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Ability to work in a construction environment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday
• Desire to learn and build a career in the data center industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools
• Basic understanding of low-voltage cabling
• Experience installing cable support systems
• Exposure to commercial construction projects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Hill, VA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
