Full-Time Java / React Developer – Hybrid (Reston, VA)

About the Role

ChabezTech LLC is seeking a talented Full Stack Java / React Developer to join our growing team in Reston, VA .

This role focuses on developing and integrating enterprise web applications using Spring Boot (Java) and React.js . You’ll collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and modern web solutions in a hybrid environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java (Spring Boot) RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Build high-performing UIs using React.js , Redux , and TypeScript .

• Integrate APIs and services for data processing and analytics.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, SSO).

• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint reviews and code evaluations.

• Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex production issues.

• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver complete solutions.

Required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , or related field.

• 5+ years of Java / J2EE / Spring Boot development experience.

• 3+ years of React.js / JavaScript / TypeScript experience.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs , JSON , and Microservices .

• Experience with SQL / Hibernate / JPA and relational databases.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS , Docker , or Kubernetes .

• Familiarity with Next.js , Redux Toolkit , or GraphQL .

• Background in federal or enterprise projects in the DC Metro area.

• Knowledge of OAuth2 / SAML / Okta / Azure AD for identity management.
