Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale commercial and industrial concrete projects . This role is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, supervising field crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has strong field leadership experience and a deep understanding of structural and flatwork concrete construction including foundations, slabs, tilt-up panels, parking structures, and industrial-grade floors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all daily field operations for concrete scope, including excavation, formwork, rebar placement, pouring, finishing, and curing

• Coordinate labor crews, subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment usage

• Ensure work is performed according to construction documents, project specs, and engineering standards

• Lead pre-pour meetings and inspections; monitor quality control throughout the construction process

• Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards; conduct regular site safety meetings and inspections

• Resolve job site issues quickly and efficiently to minimize delays

• Manage site documentation including daily logs, progress photos, safety reports, and field notes

• Communicate project status, challenges, and scheduling updates to the project manager and stakeholders

• Support project scheduling and sequencing to align with production goals

• Interface with engineers, inspectors, and client representatives as needed

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/superintendent role on commercial or industrial projects

• Proven experience with large-scale concrete operations such as tilt-up, cast-in-place, post-tensioned, or structural concrete

• Strong blueprint reading skills and familiarity with layout and survey tools

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management abilities

• Proficiency with project management tools and field reporting apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)

• OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on project needs
