Construction Administrative Assistant

This is a remote position.

B&S Site Development is a full-service large-parcel site development provider of services including clearing, grading, excavation, erosion control, sewer (storm and sanitary) installation, water main installation, paving (including roadbed, curb, and gutter), and sidewalks. We also perform drilling and blasting for both B&S and independent site development customers. Our geographic footprint includes Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the Greater Washington D.C. area.

We are hiring a reliable Construction Administrative Assistant to provide support to our project managers and office team. This role involves scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks to keep construction projects running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule meetings, site visits, and calls for project managers and supervisors.
  
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and project documentation.
  
• Maintain project calendars, contact databases, and filing systems.
  
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and act as first point of contact for clients and subcontractors.
  
• Assist with expense reports, invoices, and purchasing requests.
  
• Support HR with onboarding paperwork and training coordination for new employees.
  
• Track office supplies and manage inventory requests.
  
• Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for field staff.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  
• 1–2 years of administrative or office assistant experience.
  
• Familiarity with construction industry practices is a plus.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
