The .NET Software Engineer/Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using the . NET framework . The successful candidate will integrate software solutions with Oracle databases , support production environments, and drive data quality. The engineer will work collaboratively in an agile scrum environment, contributing to deployment automation, documentation, and supporting testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using the .NET framework
• Implement IIS best practices to support scalable, secure web application infrastructure
• Develop and maintain integrations between . NET applications and Oracle databases , including database objects such as stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support application and system integrations
• Support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to data quality initiatives
• Participate in automated deployment processes and assist with building and maintaining deployment scripts and documentation (including Ansible )
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Nexus to enable reliable software delivery
• Integrate applications with security tools and authentication solutions, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) technologies such as OKTA and CyberArk
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate in an agile scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while working closely with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams
• Assist with technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a .NET Software Engineer, Developer, or related role
• Strong experience developing web applications using .NET (including ASP.NET, Web API, or modern .NET Core/.NET frameworks) and IIS
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or NestJS)
• Experience integrating applications with Oracle databases , including development of stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers
• Experience with database tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, or SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Nexus
• Experience with Git-based version control and agile tools such as Jira
• Exposure to deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible) or willingness to learn
• Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to work within NIST security guidelines
• Experience integrating with authentication and security platforms such as OKTA or CyberArk
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional agile teams

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or related .NET certification
• Oracle Database or SQL-related certifications
