You will work in a modern outpatient facility with access to updated equipment and treatment spaces designed to support evidence-based physical therapy, functional strengthening, and safe progression of patient activity.The Manassas/Sudley area offers a blend of historic charm and modern convenience. You can explore Manassas National Battlefield Park, stroll through Old Town Manassas with its local shops and restaurants, and take advantage of community events, farmers markets, and festivals. Sudley's location provides easy access to major highways, making commuting and weekend trips to Washington, DC, Arlington, and the rest of Northern Virginia straightforward. Residents enjoy nearby parks, trails, and recreational facilities, along with well-regarded schools and family-friendly neighborhoods.In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of outpatient diagnoses, including orthopedic, post-surgical, sports-related, and potentially vestibular and concussion cases. You will develop individualized plans of care, progress patients through therapeutic exercise and functional training, utilize manual therapy as appropriate, and provide ongoing education regarding injury prevention and self-management.A typical day includes: Managing a full outpatient caseload with scheduled evaluations and follow-up visits Collaborating with other therapists and support staff to coordinate care and optimize patient flow Performing detailed examinations, developing goals, and documenting care using an EMR system Communicating with referring providers as needed regarding patient status and progress Participating in clinic huddles, in-services, and continuing education activitiesPatient volume and ratios are consistent with a productive outpatient environment, with support staff and standardized processes to help you focus on direct patient care. The clinic treats a broad mix of patients from the local community, offering exposure to a wide range of conditions and levels of functional ability.Shifts typically follow standard weekday clinic hours, with daytime schedules designed for consistent access for patients and predictability for clinicians. Depending on clinic needs, there may be occasional early morning or early evening appointments to accommodate patient schedules.This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative, goal-oriented team setting, values high-quality patient outcomes, and wants to practice in a thriving, amenity-rich Northern Virginia community.
