214930 - Electrical Engineer 1
Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience OR Master's degree and 0 years' experience OR PDP apprentice certificate and 1 year of engineering experience. Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Special Requirements:
o Troubleshooting and repair Communication networks.
o Provide technical support of communication networks.
o Support the development of Communication networks.
o Network design and implementations
o Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling.
o Develop scope of work.
PPE: Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toes.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required. WORK HOURS:
5/40 workweek. 7:30AM to 4PM.
