As a Security Officer TWIC Entry Screening in Newport News, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will help support access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will deliver strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, gates, and/or operational spaces.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting site personnel during security-related events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity, access issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
