Front Desk Agent
Overview:
Awana Operating Company is looking for a Front Desk Agent to provide guests with a comfortable stay and respond to all guest requests. We have positions open at Comfort Inn and Candlewood Suites. The hotels are located next door to each other. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for the following:
- Greeting guests upon their arrival and provide information about the property
- Answer phones and provide information to guests about the property, location, and directions
- Provide information to guests about rooms, rates, amenities, and available rooms at different times of the day
- Check in/out guests who enter or exit properties
- Maintain front desk area by keeping it clean, organized, and stocked at times required (e.g., trash removal)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or staff as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon their arrival at the property
- Provide information to guests about rooms, rates, amenities, and available rooms at different times of the day
- Answer phones and provide information to guests who call in questions or requests
- Provide information to guests who enter or leave properties
- Maintain front desk area by keeping it clean, organized, and stocked at times required (e.g., trash removal)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or staff as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- ** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND 3PM - 11PM / 7AM-3PM SHIFT.**
- Weekdays available. (3pm-11pm / 7am-3pm shifts.)
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 years of age or older.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
