You will monitor assigned areas, help to discourage security-related incidents, assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and concerns, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting site leadership, and/or requesting public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual conditions, assist with wayfinding, and verify visitor and/or vendor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
