OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Tangier, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• Hazmat endorsement
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive Hazmat nationwide for HMD Trucking from Tangier, VA as an OTR solo operator. Compensation begins at 65 CPM with an extra 4 CPM when hauling hazmat, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus performance and safety bonuses. You’ll run modern tractors (under three years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers and benefit from reliable in-house maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver hazardous materials across long-distance routes, following all applicable regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep precise paperwork.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience; home every three weeks.
