Childcare Staff Substitutes and Floaters

Dedicated and nurturing Early Childhood Floater with experience supporting teachers and young children in a preschool environment. Duties- Assisting lead teachers with daily classroom activities
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children
- Helping with meals, snacks, and clean-up
- Supporting children during playtime, learning centers, and outdoor activities
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Covering classrooms during teacher breaks, meetings, or absences
- Assisting with diapering, toileting, and handwashing routines when needed
- Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and language development
- Preparing classroom materials and activities
- Communicating respectfully with staff, children, and families
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting
- Ability to work with different age groups and classrooms
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and dependability
- Knowledge of basic child development and classroom safety
- Fluent Spanish speaker
- Passing a background check and fingerprinting
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and actively supervise children throughout the day
- Positive, patient, and nurturing attitude
- CPR and First Aid certification
