CDL/Non-CDL Tow Truck Operator
Job Description: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for handling daily dispatched wrecker/rollback calls. This highly motivated, self-sufficient operator is expected to be a “walking example” of the organized professional operation that Skimino strives to be. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptive to changing environments, schedules, and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
- Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license
- No automatic restrictions
- Must have or be able to obtain TWIC and military base access
- Have medical examiners certification
- Clean MVR
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a wrecker operator of rollback trucks
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Must have and keep current a USA issued driver's license
- Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills
- Have the ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members
- Clean, manage, and maintain tools and vehicles which are assigned
- Perform duties during regular working hours and when circumstances arise, additional duty time required to complete a dispatched call or task required by manager
- Have a willingness to travel out of the area, and sometimes out of town, at any time of the day or day of the week as necessary
- Be receptive to on and off-site training with exceptional results
- Must be willing to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties
- Must pass a criminal history check
- Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings
