As Director of Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our mission comes to life every day.
Position Summary
The Director of Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing efficiency, and driving growth across Achieve’s programs and manufacturing services. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role ensures that our organization delivers high-quality products and services while advancing our mission to empower individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and fulfillment of contracts.
- Mission-Driven Growth: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand business opportunities and strengthen community partnerships.
- Efficiency & Quality: Analyze workflows, layouts, and processes to maximize productivity while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
- Team Development: Provide orientation, training, and ongoing support to staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Financial Stewardship: Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate billing and reporting; prepare operational updates for the Board of Directors.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to long-range planning, corporate objectives, and budget development as part of the leadership team.
- Customer Focus: Oversee inventory control, shipping, and receiving to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Hands-On Support: Step in to assist with direct operations when needed, modeling adaptability and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 5+ years of proven success in operations or management.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to Achieve’s mission of supporting adults with disabilities.

Physical & Position Requirements
- Ability to work full-time with occasional overtime and travel.
