As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide programmatic and technical management support to the government customer on NAS Oceana, VA.

In the Senior Systems Engineering role you will:

• Interface with Semi-automated Forces (SAF) simulation systems like Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and MSEA’s Next Generation Threat System (NGTS/AMIE)
• Use your experience with distributed simulation and interoperability to seamlessly connecting simulation systems over the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) network
• Provide engineering support for Weapon Servers, Navy Aviation Distributed Training Center (NADTC), and Navy Aviation Simulation Master Plan (NASMP) trainer systems

Requirements

Education, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant STEM degree is required
• Well-versed in the areas of Cyber Security, Cross Domain Solution (CDS), and ATO requirements, and have a good understanding of JBUS gateway, DRMS/ASTI Radios, and distributed stimulation protocols (DIS, HLA, and TENA)

• This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
