Work you'll do

As a Delivery Management Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for:
  • Define product vision, target users, and value proposition for delivery efforts supporting implementation teams, client administrators, and end users
  • Build and maintain a roadmap that balances client needs, delivery efficiency, technical health, and commercial priorities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage backlog and sprint execution, and support prioritization and release planning across concurrent programs
  • Monitor sprint progress, report team metrics, and drive process improvements to support quality and release readiness
  • Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Solution Architects, engineering leads, and implementation leads to promote alignment across teams

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar agile delivery role
  • 2+ years of experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies for one or more development teams
  • 2+ years of experience managing product backlog, sprint execution, and release planning
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Palantir Foundry or other data platforms
  • Experience in software development, business analytics, or other technical roles
  • SAFe certification such as SAFe Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist
  • Advanced agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster, Release Train Engineer, or similar
  • Experience using agile metrics tracking tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
