Application developer - devops

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior SDET Engineer position for our client in Reston, VA.

Duration: 4 months

Duties:

• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Terraform Enterprise modules for AWS environments.

• Implement and enforce Sentinel policies in collaboration with information security teams.

• Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, automated testing.

• Contribute to software engineering processes, including automated builds, deployments, and continuous testing.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise and module design.

• Proficiency with GitLab for version control and CI/CD orchestration.

• Strong understanding of AWS services; Azure experience considered if familiar with Terraform modules.

• Experience developing and enforcing Sentinel policies.

• Proficiency in Java, Shell, and Python scripting.

• Familiarity with DevOps best practices and SDLC methodologies.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a DevOps engineer, SDET, or application developer with cloud-focused automation.

• Proven track record in Terraform module development, CI/CD automation, and cloud deployments.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
