Role Overview:
In this role, you will focus on hands‑on technical work that supports the integration of fiber and IP‑based circuits. - Manage Technical Integration: Lead technical integration efforts within FAA National Airspace System (NAS) environments with 5 years of hands-on experience in advanced network protocols, transport infrastructure, and cloud enabled platforms. Troubleshoot complex issues across fiber, IP, and hybrid legacy interfaces and validate end to end system performance to meet FAA reliability, redundancy, and mission critical availability standards.
- Execute Technical Cutovers: Direct hands-on circuit turn up, cutover, and integration activities across fiber, IP, and legacy interfaces. Perform end to end testing and validation to ensure full operational readiness within FAA mission critical environments.
- Communicate Design Updates: Lead the delivery of clear, actionable briefings to stakeholders and senior leadership on architecture changes, technical risks, and integration impacts. Drive rigorous and transparent technical reporting to ensure informed, timely, and high confidence decision making across FAA mission critical programs.
- Manage Technical Risk: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, interdependencies, and operational bottlenecks to maintain NAS continuity, ensure deployment readiness, and uphold FAA standards for safety, reliability, and service availability.
