We are currently seeking a seasoned Google Cloud Cybersecurity SME to support various aspects of cybersecurity for systems deployed within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP security features and best practices and will play a crucial role in ensuring the security posture of sensitive government and military data. Must hold active SECRET clearance and relevant GCP, AWS, and DoD 8570 certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
A Subject matter expert with regards to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and a broad coverage of the application of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards and guidance. Maintains current certification as a Certified Cloud Security Professional. Works independently with substantial cloud computing security knowledge. Identifies, manages, and resolves cloud computing security risk and implements “best practices” as applied within a cloud environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years of relevant C&A experience
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST C&A experience
- DOD Cybersecurity experience
- Experience in assessing Cybersecurity Controls and conducting C&A reviews for large, complex Information systems
- Experience with modern and dynamic computing and networking protocols or standard Internet of Things (IoT) protocols.
- Experience and well versed in FedRAMP assessment methodology of security and privacy controls deployed in cloud information systems
- Knowledge and understanding of solutions and strategies to meet or exceed requirements of DoD's Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
- Hold an active Secret clearance
Certifications:
- DoD 8570 IAT II (i.e Security+, SSCP, etc.)
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer OR Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Additional CSP certification
