Warehouse Associate

Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Pay: $18.57/hour
Schedule: Full-time with frequent overtime opportunities

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for loading merchandise onto trailers, verifying orders, and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment . This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Load merchandise onto trailers for store delivery
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and position products
• Inspect products for damage or defects and report concerns
• Verify orders by checking labels, SKUs, and quantities for accuracy
• Arrange loads to maximize trailer space and ensure proper weight distribution
• Perform equipment safety checks prior to use
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock tracking
• Coordinate with team members, drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Core Duties

• Lock trailers into dock using DOKLOK equipment
• Stack and pack merchandise from conveyor onto trailers or pallets
• Separate and track RX totes, recording counts accurately
• Place boards and load bars between orders
• Complete load diagrams during loading
• Close and seal trailer doors upon completion
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper conveyor use
• Perform general housekeeping and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Ability to operate or become certified on material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift up to 100 lbs (occasionally) and 50 lbs frequently
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing
• Work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes
• Exposure to moving equipment and conveyor systems

Additional Information

• Frequent overtime available , especially during high-volume periods
• Must follow all safety protocols , including proper use of conveyors and emergency procedures
