As a Laborer in our Protective Coatings Division , you’ll play a key role in restoring and maintaining pipeline infrastructure. You will clean and prepare structures, remove waste materials, install protective liners, and assist other craft workers. This is a physically active, outdoor job that offers steady work, teamwork, and the satisfaction of building something that lasts. No two days are the same, and you'll be part of a crew that takes pride in getting the job done right. This role reports to the Manager of the division.
This position is based in Winchester, IN , however, weekly travel will be required to various project sites. The starting pay is $18.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience and if a CDL license is held. What You’ll Do
- Hands-on work: Clean, prepare, and restore man-holes and pipelines for protective coatings.
- Operate tools & equipment: Use pressure washers, power tools, and paint sprayers to complete projects efficiently.
- Site preparation & maintenance: Load and unload materials, clear work areas, and keep the job site safe and organized.
- Safety first: Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Team support: Assist construction site workers and ensure materials are stocked and ready.
What We Need
- 1-3 years in construction or a related field is preferred, but we’ll train the right person
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Valid Class A CDL license would be a plus
- Candidate must be willing to travel weekly to job sites (Monday-Friday)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift 80 lbs, work at heights, and handle physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working around potential exposure to mechanical parts, confined spaces, fumes, electrical hazards, and vibrations
