Job details:
Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER RN) SNSN SN
Location: Lynchburg, VI.
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Duties
• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level I or II trauma Emergency Department.
• Triage and stabilize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol.
• Assist with trauma resuscitation and critical patient care management.
• Document all patient care using Cerner EMR.

Requirements

• Active Virginia RN license or Compact license required
• Minimum 3 years recent Emergency Room experience required
• Experience in similar-size ED and trauma Level I or II required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• TNCC required
• Trauma certification (ATCN / TNCC / ATLC) required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Must work every other weekend
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted
• Orientation every other Monday only (6/1 or 6/15 start dates only)
