Application Engineer
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers in the Data Center and Grid sectors, providing in-depth product knowledge and application support.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions leveraging Clarios' supercapacitor technology.
- Work closely with R&D and product development teams to define and refine product specifications based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate customers on the benefits and applications of supercapacitor technology.
- Support the integration of supercapacitors into customer systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, system integrators, and industry partners. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a related role, preferably in energy storage, power systems, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of energy storage systems, including supercapacitors, batteries, and their applications in Data Centers and Grid systems.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and sales.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with power electronics, UPS systems, and grid-scale energy storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and testing of energy storage technologies.
