Responsibilities
- Equipment installation and repair
- Installing and troubleshooting of hydraulic parts, such as pumps, valves, cylinders, PTO's, wet line kits, etc.
- Installing bodies such as, flatbeds and dump bodies
- Grinding
- Welding
- Use of hand tools, welders, acetylene and oxygen torches and other shop equipment
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to life up to 75 pounds
- Pushing and pulling equipment
- Going up and down ladders and scaffolding
- Bending, crouching and standing for up to 8 hours a day
Examples of duties:
- Grinding, drilling, crouching underneath bodies, equipment and trucks
- Operate heavy equipment that requires the use of safety glasses, hearing protectors, workboots and hard hats
- Operate hydraulic systems at pressures of 3.000 pounds per square inch
Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM till 4:30 PM
Compensation based on experience. Range $15- $18 per hour
