Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Water Technician to join our team and perform essential tasks related to water pumping, extraction, and mold removal for commercial projects in Richmond, VA. This role requires a commitment to emergency service duties, including on-call availability and potential overtime work.

Responsibilities

• Perform water pumping and extraction tasks efficiently.
• Conduct mold remediation processes following industry standards.
• Move and re-set contents as necessary for project completion.
• Set up and maintain drying equipment to ensure optimal results.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in construction, restoration, and carpentry.
• Expertise in remediation, mechanical tasks, and demolition.
• Ability to handle mold-related tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in restoration and remediation.
• Must have IICRC Certification.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks.
• Clean driving record to utilize company vehicle.

Work Environment

The position involves working on commercial projects around Richmond, VA, with a major client being VCU. The standard work hours are from 7am to 5pm, with on-call duties every other week as part of this emergency service role. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
