Job Description
Software Developer – Quantico, VA

Full Visibility is seeking a Software Developer to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance.

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and implementing software designed around a specific set of requirements or to use particular methodologies required to meet specific procedural requirements. The candidate will design software tools that include system calls to other third-party tools and utilities specified. The Developer will design, maintain, and implement original software applications from a high-level, non-specific set of concepts provided by the Government client. The successful candidate will develop software and applications of large and complex software and systems, and web-based query and reporting systems.

Job Requirements:

• Active Top Secret Clearance


• At least five (5+) years of experience in software development for systems in a production environment


• Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Python, PowerShell, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, WSDL, and Angular


• Experience identifying technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applications


• Ability to design and author original software applications and programs from observation of desired outcomes, workflows, or from vague original concepts


• Ability to produce specifications and design documentation, such as process flow, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web service interface specifications, data dictionary, and data models


• Experience creating project work estimates


• Able to implement solutions and identify operational or management issues


• Experience with systems design, policy development, database development and management, and user interface development


• Ability to maximize the use of COTS software


• Knowledge of Information Security Systems (ISS) and security standards of sensitive data


• Knowledge of the current FISMA Act of 2002


• Four-year degree program in software development, computer science, or related field; OR in lieu of education, 10 years of experience in software development for systems in a production environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with deploying container-based solutions


• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Microservices Architecture
