In an Urgent Care environment designed like a Fast Track within an Emergency Department/ER/ED, the Advanced Clinical Practitioner will see diverse presentations with efficient throughput, robust protocols, and ready access to point-of-care resources; the clinic offers on-site diagnostic testing, X-rays, wound management, minor injury care, and laboratory screening, enabling a Nurse Practitioner to deliver timely, evidence-based care from triage to disposition with confidence and compassion.

Reporting to an Urgent Care Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with attending physicians while enjoying meaningful autonomy supported by clear protocols, specialty consult availability, and friendly nurses alongside a diverse healthcare professional team that includes radiologic technologists, laboratory staff, registrars, and care coordinators; as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, core responsibilities include rapid triage, focused exams, ordering and interpreting imaging and labs, procedures such as suturing, splinting, and I&D, EKG interpretation, prescribing, patient education, and closing care gaps-all supported by an interdisciplinary network that values the perspective of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
