Network Engineer

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. - Develop, engineer, and deploy technical network solutions to meet defined system and customer requirements.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure in accordance with technical standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with team members to support evolving and shifting network requirements.
- Support network implementation, integration, testing, and deployment activities in operational environments.
- Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues and support resolution efforts as needed.
- Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience
- Experience developing, deploying, or maintaining network solutions in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network implementation and deployment concepts.
- Recent experience building, deploying, or maintaining Cisco-based networks, devices, or tools .
- Experience working with commercial networking technologies and COTS solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment providing technical input and support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document network configurations, designs, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting network operations in a government or defense contracting environment.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
