Position Overview:

ASAP is actively hiring on behalf of our client for a Document Analyst supporting a Strategic Asset Management team in Alexandria, VA. This is a contract-to-hire, entry-level opportunity with a strong focus on Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA).

We’re specifically looking for candidates who have hands-on experience reviewing, supporting, or working with facility, building, or property assessment reports—such as building inspections, condition assessments, asset inventories, or capital planning documentation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for QA/QC of assessment reports, editing and formatting documents in Microsoft Word, cross-referencing data in Excel, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across deliverables.

Ideal backgrounds may include facilities management, property management, real estate due diligence, construction/engineering support, asset management, or assessment analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review FCA and PCA reports to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
• Reformat and edit reports in Microsoft Word , performing administrative QA/QC for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Review, update, and format Excel spreadsheets , cross-referencing data with narrative text, tables, and graphs in Word documents.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of FCA and PCA deliverables prior to client submission.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews within an Enterprise Asset Management System , ensuring asset and capital expenditure data is accurate.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific reporting requirements throughout the reporting lifecycle.
• Review an average of 40–50 reports per month while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. (BA in English or a related field strongly preferred)
• 1–2 years of professional experience in a related technical, documentation, or administrative role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines.
