Job Description:
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales, distribution, and brand presence within an assigned territory. This field-based role focuses on building customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring company brands are consistently represented at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key account contacts.
- Drive outside sales revenue and increase distribution of company brands.
- Prospect for new accounts through regular outside sales calls.
- Service the account on every visit – to include merchandising.
- Lead, schedule and at times execute resets in order to expand portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet volume and distribution goals.
- Anticipate objections and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure product is in code, saleable, and properly merchandised.
- Maintain or increase shelf space and secure secondary displays.
- Monitor competitive activity and report market insights.
- Support promotional events, grand openings, and special dealer requests.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and voicemails.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain company equipment and property in clean, working condition.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and recall procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle and insurance.
- Minimum of two years of successful sales and/or customer service experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Prior sales experience in a related industry.
Additional Details:
- Field-based role with daily travel to customer accounts.
- Indoor and outdoor working environments.
- Office tasks completed primarily at customer locations.
- Use of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Physical Requirements:
- Regular standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
- Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent driving and data entry.
