Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in NICU care to provide critical respiratory support in a well-equipped medical environment. This contract position is based in Spotsylvania, VA, at a facility known for comprehensive respiratory care and advanced patient support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy to NICU and adult patients, utilizing advanced ventilation equipment including Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1.
• Perform skilled procedures such as managing CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and specialized ventilation techniques.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
• Adhere to safety and clinical protocols, maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Work a schedule of 3-12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years general respiratory therapy experience.
• At least 3 in NICU skills with hands-on experience in neonatal respiratory care.
• Certifications: BLS mandatory; ACLS and NRP preferred or can be obtained after hire.
• Proficiency in advanced respiratory equipment and ventilator management.
• Must be comfortable wearing all black scrubs as part of the uniform policy.
