Production Packaging Specialist
Day in the Life — Richmond, VA
As a Production Packaging Specialist, you’ll be the final checkpoint before our products reach customers. Your focus: prepare, protect, and present each item with accuracy and care. In our fast-moving Richmond, VA operation, you’ll collaborate closely with teammates to keep production on pace while upholding exacting quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Package products precisely to meet company specifications and standards.
- Inspect items for defects and overall quality before they’re boxed or wrapped.
- Apply labels correctly and maintain accurate documentation to support inventory control.
- Coordinate with your team to achieve daily production targets.
- Keep work areas orderly to support safety and efficiency.
- Help train new team members when needed.
- Immediately report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in packaging or warehouse settings is a plus.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Sharp attention to detail with a commitment to quality output.
- Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Comfort with basic math for labeling and inventory tracking.
- Schedule flexibility for varied shifts and potential overtime.
