OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Nelsonia, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• Hazmat endorsement
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking as an OTR solo Hazmat driver operating nationwide from Nelsonia, VA. Drivers receive mileage pay starting at 65 CPM with an extra 4 CPM for hazmat, average around 2,500 miles per week, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses. Fleets are modern (under three years) and fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by robust in-house maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Transport hazardous materials safely on long-haul routes, maintaining compliance with all regulations.
• Execute pre/post-trip inspections and keep detailed trip records.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery timelines.

Requirements:

• CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience; home every three weeks; driver-focused team.
