Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Cardiology

This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to work closely with patients and medical staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, providing quality care to patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals. - Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and preventive measures
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to team-based care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology and medical practices
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Cardiology
- Associate-level experience in a cardiology setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular diseases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Active medical license in the state of practice
Schedule: 24-hour STEMI call coverage
Patient Volume: 1 per shift
Annual Volume: ~240 STEMI cases
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
