Summer Camp Teacher
Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Summer Camp Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising school-age children, leading engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and positive environment throughout the summer program.
Duties- Implement weekly activity plans that are age-appropriate and engaging
- Support children’s social development by modeling positive behavior and conflict resolution
- Prepare and set up materials for daily activities and clean up afterward
- Supervise children during meals, snacks, and rest periods as needed
- Ensure smooth transitions during off-site activities, including field trips and outdoor play
- Observe and report any behavioral concerns or incidents according to center policy
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and organized camp environment
- Enforce safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to pass background check (Central Registry & Fingerprinting)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
