Business Intelligence Analyst

IDR is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in McLean, VA. This role involves supporting enterprise reporting initiatives within a global hospitality company's analytics team, focusing on data access, automation, and insights to enhance strategic decision-making.

Position Overview for the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
• Design and develop data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support various business functions.
• Support ongoing automation and data integration projects to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity and quality by overseeing data sources, monitoring anomalies, and providing troubleshooting support.
• Assist end users with self-service reporting tools and deliver training on report and dashboard utilization.

Requirements for the Business Intelligence Analyst:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics and data visualization.
• 3+ years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and summarizing large datasets into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with MicroStrategy and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data management tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or Alteryx.
• Strong SQL skills for ad hoc querying and data analysis.
