Precision Fabrication Welder — Stainless & Aluminum (MIG/TIG)

Step Into a Precision Welding Role

Start your day reviewing detailed shop drawings, laying out accurate measurements, and planning clean, strong welds on stainless steel and aluminum fixtures. You’ll switch confidently between MIG, TIG, and flux-cored processes, weld in multiple positions, and take ownership of quality from prep to finish. This full-time position supports one of our valued manufacturing clients and rewards craftsmanship, safety, and reliability.

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay: $25–$28 per hour (based on experience)
• Employment Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Handle

• Interpret shop drawings/blueprints to lay out, fit, and weld stainless and aluminum components
• Perform MIG, TIG, and flux-cored welding in vertical, flat, horizontal, and overhead positions
• Measure, mark, and verify tolerances with precision
• Inspect welds, identify defects, and ensure work meets specifications
• Prep and finish parts using grinders and sanders for a polished result
• Operate cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment safely
• Move, stage, and properly store raw materials and completed assemblies
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and professional work area

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Non-climate-controlled metal fabrication setting
• Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and handling fabricated parts
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity required
• Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of welding or metal fabrication experience (school experience accepted)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and sketches
• Hands-on work with stainless steel and aluminum strongly preferred
• Comfort with hand tools (tape measure, square, clamps, etc.)
• Strong measurement accuracy and shop math skills
• Ability to wear PPE: welding helmet, gloves, leathers, and steel-toe footwear
