IT Support Technician

- Provide desktop, peripheral, and user access support for office personnel, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and standard business applications.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with IT policies and security requirements.
- Respond to service desk tickets, diagnose technical problems, and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.
- Track IT assets, support equipment moves and upgrades, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- Experience providing hands-on IT support in a desktop or service desk environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Familiarity with user account management, permissions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience documenting technical issues, resolutions, and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience supporting a government or defense contractor environment.
- Familiarity with basic server administration or endpoint management tools.
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal (0-20%)
- Working Hours: Standard business hours
