As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Ruther Glen VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response guidelines at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas warehouse spaces parking areas trailer lots and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits gates and/or freight movement areas to help support authorized access visitor processing and adherence to site rules and post orders.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents patrol activity and/or daily operations and report maintenance issues hazards or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
