Credence has an immediate need for an This position supports the Foreign Military Sales – Army Case Execution System (FMS-ACES) Product Office. FMS-ACES is the first Defense Business System (DBS) program in the DoDI 5000.87 Software Acquisition Pathway, within PEO Enterprise, located in the Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS) portfolio. FMS-ACES is a cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) providing a user-centric journey design that will modernize the Army’s FMS case execution and management processes from end to end. By stream-lining business processes, data standardization, integrated through state-of-the-art interface management, FMS-ACES will provide accurate case management and business analytics enabling real-time, accurate and informed data-drive decisions for Senior Leaders. FMS-ACES is in development and once fielded subsumes capabilities of a 50-year-old legacy system and consolidates two disparate systems into a single source of Army FMS data. The new system will exchange information with 26 distinct financial and logistic systems of record partners for end-to-end process execution. FMS-ACES will support 2000 users, incorporating 6,200 active FMS cases and 88,000 active requisitions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive test plans tightly aligned with software development milestones under Agile methodologies
  • Design detailed test scenarios and strategies for both functional (application features) and non-functional (performance, security, scalability) requirements
  • Perform thorough front-end testing including evaluating visual design, validating user interactions, ensuring accessibility, and verifying consistency across devices and browsers
  • Test data and interface transactions, verify integrated end-to-end ETL processes, and ensure accuracy and integrity of data exchanged with external systems
  • Proactively identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks; maintain structured defect reports for transparency and follow-up
  • Assess application speed and responsiveness, execute regression tests after code changes, and monitor visually and technically for unintended impacts
  • Continuously refine and improve test processes, applying industry best practices and leveraging modern test automation tools
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and key stakeholders to ensure technical and business objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and deliver detailed test result reports for development teams and stakeholders to support informed decisions
  • Validate and test UI features, supporting compliance with DoD requirements
  • Oversee test automation implementation, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright, and conduct performance testing as needed

Minimum Required Experience:

  • Active Secret Clearance is mandatory
  • Experience supporting a Project Management Office (PMO) within the Department of the Army Headquarters is highly preferred
  • Experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management execution and FMS case management business process is highly preferred
  • Demonstrable experience leading program test events, creating testing processes, and performing QA for front-end IT software applications
  • Experience in Agile methodology and executing testing processes utilizing Agile
  • Experience validating and testing front-end IT software applications for DoD programs
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks)
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies: Manual and automated testing techniques, such as unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
  • Familiarity with testing tools: Automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright), as well as performance testing tools
  • Strong communication skills: to effectively communicate bugs and issues to the development teams
  • Attention to detail to identify subtle issues that might affect the user experience

This role is 90 % Hybrid, with in-person attendance for quarterly onsite at our Arlington VA -Crystal City
