A small and growing professional E-commerce sales company located in both Virginia and New York is seeking to fill a Purchasing Assistant/Customer Service Manager role , working alongside a Purchasing Manager and assisting our sales team with direct vendor relations. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skill set, and qualifications. Must be experienced, organized, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. A minimum of 3 years of experience serving in similar position(s) is desired.

Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments
- Overseeing the customer service team of 3 - 6 employees and their daily work output, and that they are staying on task.
- Assisting and managing vendor relations, including billing, purchase orders, and returns / vendor credits
- Communicating and following up with clients
- Answering and responding to all calls and correspondence
- Administrative duties, as needed - working directly with upper management
Required skills include:
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, the internet, and e-mail
- Effective communicator via e-mail and telephone
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Quick learner, self-confident, motivated, and able to work with both new and existing clients
- General bookkeeping Knowledge is a PLUS
