Position Overview

Midea, a global leader in home appliances, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Sales Manager to lead and expand our home appliance and home comfort business with Ferguson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales managers that are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, and driving overall business growth with Ferguson. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong team leadership skills, a deep understanding of the home appliances market, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets, market share growth, and profitability.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of sales managers. Provide coaching and support to ensure individual and team success.
• Market Analysis: Identify opportunities for growth, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and cross functional teams at Ferguson. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and support.
• Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company goals.
• Brand Representation: Represent Midea at Ferguson events and meetings. Promote the brand\'s values, products, and services to enhance brand awareness and reputation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the home appliances industry. Experience with Ferguson preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the home appliances market, including trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• The role is remote but the ideal candidate lives in close proximity to Newport News, VA
