Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support their team. This individual will be responsible for:

• Responsible for the review, verification, and processing a multi-company biweekly payroll timely and accurately for multi-state employees
• Review new hire and termination entries in Workday/ADP (verify sign-on letter, commission structure timing of start/term date, retro pay etc.)
• Responds to all payroll-related inquiries including but not limited to payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, child support payments, employment verifications, and resolves employee issues.
• Maintain/update current federal and multi-state tax compliance for withholding as well as pre/post tax deductions and employer paid benefits in current payroll system
• Reconciliation of bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual taxes (federal, state & local), banking, GL entries and resolve differences with the accounting team.
• Create and maintain internal management reports and payroll SOPs for current payroll system.
• Provide support for various projects within the Shared Services department and perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

$25/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
